Analyzing Persuasive Posters for Word Choice

Look at the examples below:






















Original:  Canada must do better than this.
Change to:  America, we must do better than this!


























OriginalYou'll save one pound of CO2 for every mile you don't drive.
Change: You'll save slaves for every bar of chocolate you don't buy.



Now it's your turn:  Click on the links below and examine the posters/persuasive handouts closely.  Create a new Google Doc. titled "Persuasive Words".  Recreate the same format that you see above by writing the original word/phrase & then what you would change it to in order to fit your topic.  If you are able to put the picture in above your words, that would be even better!

You will use these ideas later to help create a persuasive poster/handout of your own.
